I am nursing and after my 2 week old finishes, he gets very gassy which makes him fuss. Last night he was up most of the night. What homeopathic help can I give him?
Answer:
There are a few homeopathic remedies on the market that are made just for infants. You can try one like Hyland's Colic Tablets to see if that makes a difference.
Other natural remedies include a weak chamomile tea or something like Gripe Water, which many moms recommend.
Other remedies to try are extra burping during/between nursing sessions, and also gently "pedaling" his legs. You can watch what you are eating, because sometimes babies can react to what mothers eat. Sometimes babies just get fussy and walking with them, trying different burping positions, dancing with them, putting them in a carrier, etc. really helps a lot!
