Keeping Your Little One Occupied and Happy
December 10, 2009
Hi ,

The snow has come to Northern Michigan in a fury - it began last week and has been coming down thick and heavy since then. Our entire world literally changed overnight. As of right now, the kids are thrilled and loving getting out in the snow - we went sledding and Galen even joined in the fun (riding in Mama's trusty ERGObaby carrier, of course!)

I know it's only a matter of time before some of the snowy novelty wears off, though, and the boredom sets in. It got me thinking about keeping kids occupied, so I decided to pull together a little resource to help you (and myself) when we really just need something for them to do. Here's how you can get the bonus resource:

I'm always working hard to improve Natural Birth and Baby Care for you, so I also put together a short, easy survey. It'll just take a few minutes of your time, and sharing your thoughts with me helps me make the site (and this newsletter) better for you.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Go ahead and take the survey now - as soon as you're done with the survey you'll get your copy of "32 Ways to Keep Kids Occupied."

The questions from the Q&A are still coming in - there have been some great questions this week:

Slowing Down to EC the Right Way

Baby is Lodged to the Right Side, is that OK?

Rh and Rhogam Shot Questions

Vitamin D, Peanut Butter, and Milk Questions

Baby Sleeping on My Chest at Night?

Is There Any Way to Avoid an Episiotomy?

Is Using a Midwife More Cost Effective Than Going to a Hospital?

Ask Your Own Question

I've also gotten lots of submissions for the new gallery, and it's really great to see all your beautiful bellies and babies!

See (and share!) the baby bellies - there are some bellies up there that make pregnancy look so effortless!

See (and show off!) cute natural babies! - the babies are adorable, and it's great to see how families are making natural parenting and baby care work "in real life!"

I hope the holiday season is going well for everybody!

Remeber to go fill out the quick survey, because you're going to love the ideas I've pulled together (ideas for little ones and many ideas for older kids, too)

~Kristen

P.S. We're getting close to 100 fans on Facebook - have you become a fan of Natural Birth and Baby Care yet?
