a New Baby and More... February 25, 2010 |
Hey there...
It's Kristen and I have some exciting news - I've been looking forward to sharing it.
Many of you know Catherine Beier from her excellent childbirth course, Birth Outside the Box. Well, Catherine is having an exciting month - not only has Birth Outside the Box been highlighted by Fit Pregnancy Magazine - but Catherine is expecting her 3rd baby in the next few weeks!
Catherine has done so much to help thousands of women out - many of them my Tiger Lily and Natural Birth and Baby Care readers. She's interviewed Abby Epstein, producer of Riki Lake's Business of Being Born about hospital and homebirth regulations and how they effect women's choices in giving birth. She's developed the StudyWomb for online birth education. She has really been out there working to help women have natural births in hospitals, birth centers, and of course at home.
I have been wracking my brain to come up with something to say "thank you" to Catherine and to wish her well and empower her in the weeks leading up to her third baby (and first home birth!)
So now I have a simple favor to ask of you... it won't cost you a cent, just a minute or two of your time. You see, I want to "shower" Catherine with well wishes and empowering words from my readers. Can you send her your good birthing wishes (or advice) as she gets set for her baby's March arrival?
Just hit the reply button in your email program, type in a simple message to Catherine, and then press the "send" button.
I am hoping to get hundreds (or even thousands) of responses... then I will put them all together for Catherine. Can you think of a more beautiful gift than hundreds of well-wishes from Natural Birth and Baby Care readers from all over the world? It will be like a Blessingway connecting women around the globe!
Just press the reply button in your email program to send me your wishes to Catherine... I will take care of the rest.
Here's to bellies blossoming all around - and the new babies being born every day!
Warmly, Kristen
P.S. Thanks for taking the time to read this to the end. I don't usually share this kind of info in my newsletter... and I certainly have never asked for anything like this before! But I decided to really go out on a limb this time! |
