Tiger Lily, Issue #014 - New Birth Videos and Upcoming Q&A! March 17, 2009 |
From the Editor: I'll admit my momentum slowed a bit in February!! My family got sick the middle of the month and that put me way behind on things. I'm slowly catching up and I've been working on a couple of longer articles that I just haven't polished up to publish. Look for those soon, as well as continuing revisions of the site. I am excited because later this week I'm going to be doing a question and answer session on elimination communication with Marija, the owner of ECwear.com! If you have any questions about EC'ing we'd be happy to tackle them - you can get more information here at Curious About Elimination Communication? We got a foot of snow the other day here in Northern MI, but I know many of you are starting to see signs of spring. We get hints here and there and then it snows again - but I'm very ready to get out into the garden! Have a great month and enjoy this issue of Tiger Lily! ~Kristen Featured Articles EC'ing Galen - Four month update: I've given an update on how elimination communication is going with Galen! Our Food Challenge Ends: if you've been following the blog you know the family and I did 30 days of eating only "traditional" foods. It went well and I learned a lot about kitchen and meal management. New Birth videos!!: I've added new birth videos to my video page - all wonderful, empowering videos. And all are actual footage. If you miss the photo montages, don't worry - they'll be on their own page soon! Product Reviews Hypnobabies Home Study Course - I worked through this course during my pregnancy with Galen and I enjoyed parts of it. This is my in-depth overview and review of the program. It rates in my top 3 - if you're looking for a childbirth education course, consider Hypnobabies. Book Reviews Pottenger's Cats: This slim little book will completely change the way you think about nutrition.
Featured Recipe Coconut Milk "Jigglers": a tasty, healthy alternative to "jello" - my kids love this recipe! Featured Links I messed up the links last month! The link that didn't make it is in this edition:
