Tiger Lily, Issue #006 -- It's Been a Long Time! November 15, 2007 |
| From the Editor: Submit a Question/Comment I haven't sent out Tiger Lily in a long time and I apologize. Life has been hectic with three little ones running around! I've had a lot of changes going on over the past year and have spent a lot of time with my children and working on Natural Birth and Baby Care.com.
I've been continuously trying to clean up text and make it more readable, as well as adding new pages and more information for you. I get lots of emails from you as well and I really appreciate that and enjoy answering them!
With Natural Birth and Baby Care.com's two year anniversary just around the corner I decided it was time to get the newsletter going again. I'm so excited about everything that's been going on with NBBC and I really want to share that with you, as well as all the new information I'm learning :D
Enjoy the cool weather, Featured Articles
I've gotten a lot of articles up and I'm doing a lot of restructuring right now. My first project was the Getting Pregnant section, where I made some changes to charting info. It's a lot easier for you to read now. I've also restructured a lot of the Pregnancy section and I'm planning changes to the Natural Birth section. Look over and forward to all of that!
Also be sure to read the new sections in Getting Pregnant: Product Reviews I sat down and watched Tummy 2 Tummy Babywearing DVD and I was really impressed! What a great resource - for ANY carrier type!! Are you interested in a home childbirth class? The Pink Kit had website problems for several weeks but they're now back up. It's my top pick for a home childbirth class. Take a look at The Pink Kit today! Book Reviews

Looking for a quick lunch recipe for the colder months? Try hot sandwiches. My kids and I love this meal. Take your bread and drizzle a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar on each slice. Top with ham, mozzarella cheese slices, a tomato slice, and some red onion slices if you like them.
Close up your sandwich and put it under the broiler for 3-4 minutes. Congrats! You have a great hot sandwich!! Experiment with different toppings to vary lunch it. You can't beat how easy this is ;)
