Hi D,

The best answer I can give you is, Welcome to Pregnancy :D

It is normal to have bloating in the first trimester. It's also normal not to have any bloating. Early pregnancy signs vary a lot.

It's pretty normal to notice bloating low (between your hips) as the uterus grows and begins to push out of the pelvis - this really starts happening as you move to the end of the first trimester.

Floods of pregnancy hormones may also contribute to bloating early in pregnancy. A lot of women worry they look huge quite early - but by the time they hit 8 months pregnant they realize they weren't really all that big after all ;)

It sounds pretty normal to me - just make sure you take good care of yourself. Eat a proper pregnancy diet and get outside for a walk, swim, or other gentle exercise regularly. You and your baby will both do well :)

i'm having the same problem. i haven't told everyone yet but it's looking abit obvious and i'm only 10 weeks.
it's my second child and i'm sure i didn't have it with my son. i thought it might be my pregnancy vitamins making me feel bloated but i'm now thinking it's just another part of the first trimester along with sickness and extreme tiredness!
good luck, hope it goes in second tri - i do remember feeling better so am keeping fingers crossed!
