Toren was born Feb 23, 2010. After an attempt at homebirth, we were transported for failure to progress...he aspirated meconium, developed an infection, and was in the hospital(NICU) for 7 days. This is a photo of the short moment we were granted to get to know each other about 30 minutes after he was born.
