You're not forced into unatural pushing, and you don't have to worry about them screaming at your to "keep pushing!" as if you were in some bizarre sports contest.
Homebirth is also a gentle choice for you and your baby. You're both are treated with respect. There is very little focus on a clock and there is no focus on harsh instruments to hurry your baby along. Your body is supported, and your baby is born gently.

As your due date approaches you will begin to prepare your home and gather all the birth supplies that you need. Consider preparing food for the freezer and snacks to have on hand during labor. You may also want to have Laborade on hand to give you quick energy during your labor and birth.
