Hi, Ladies!
This is my little girl Paisley Rae who was born naturally on October 23rd. Her birth was amazing. She is our second child and the natural birth that I had with our oldest was so smooth and wonderful that I didn't think it could be AS GOOD or even BETTER the second time around.
Well, I was wrong! Her birth was a total of 4.5 hours and she was born in a hospital with a very supportive midwife. The hospital was very respectful of my wish to have a natural birth and they never tried to hook me up to anything.
Towards the end of my pregnancy with her, a concern was raised about her possibly not growing. One ultrasound showed that she was in the 5th percentile so, I had to start having frequent non-stress tests and ultrasounds to monitor her growth. When she was born, she was a healthy 8lb, 8oz. It just shows you that sometimes, technology is helpful but, we always have to remember that it can also be wrong!
Today she is almost 11 weeks old and she is a great nurser and a pretty happy baby! Her smile lights up a room and brings our whole family so much joy.
