Normal Vaginal Discharge?

Hi I am in week 14 of my pregnancy and I am a little worried. I know that more discharge during pregnancy is normal, but what if it has slowed down? Mine seems to fluctuate, some days I'll have more than other days, but it this a bad thing that I don't seem to be having as much discharge right now?

Answer:

It's pretty normal for discharge to fluctuate during pregnancy. You will probably notice more than usual (more than at a "dry" time in your cycle). It tends to be "creamy" in consistency.

Amount varies as the hormone levels in your body balance for baby, and the amounts vary from woman-to-woman. Usually you have more discharge as your pregnancy progresses.

You'll probably also notice more after you've been more active - taken a hike or a long walk, for instance.

Unless you notice red or brown in the discharge it's probably fine and just a normal fluctuation. Enjoy your pregnancy!
