I've been having treatments for the last four years. My left tube is blocked due to hydrosalpinges and my right tube is partially opened.
My husband's sperm count is good. Can you suggest information for me to get pregnant without anymore treatment. I'm tired of infertility treatments. My age is 26 years old and my husband's age is 29 years.
Answer:
Hi Gauri,
If you have tubal damage it can take a lot longer to conceive than it normally would, but since your right tube is not completely blocked there's a possibility you can get pregnant naturally.
Most doctors do recommend IVF for hydrosalpinges, though it is possible to get pregnant naturally.
Since you want to conceive naturally I recommend you do everything you can to maximize your fertility. Pay careful attention to your nutrition, because eating well will let you get pregnant faster.
You can also look into herbs and fertility supplements that may help you conceive more quickly.
Are you charting your cycles or using any ovulation test kits to see when you're ovulating so you can time baby-making sex? You can get more information on that in this ovulation predictor kit article.
The best resource I've found covering fertility herbs and treatments for infertility is Pregnancy Miracle by Lisa Olsen.
Good luck with your research as you try to conceive!
