When Does the Baby Move Into the Fetal Position?

Answer:
This depends on the baby, but usually babies move head-down into the fetal position late in the second trimester to early in the third trimester.
Sometimes babies will not turn until later. If your baby is not turning you may want to take a look at my page on breech babies, as having your baby head-down in the fetal position is optimal for birth:
