such a high!
William was born at 2:30am on Oct 10. We had a med free, vaginal and practically natural birth(unless you count them breaking the water at 7cm because we were slowing down).
He is my second son. Christopher my oldest was born vaginally, but not med free.
William's birth was a completely different experience and absolutely wonderful! I recovered faster, had a very awesome natural high directly after he was out, and he nursed very very well first time.
This is a pic of his first time, he is about 10 minutes old. He did not lose any weight as I fed on demand as long as he liked, and because of this my milk came in before I even left the hospital. This kid can suck! lol he is now 2 months old and very happy, healthy, cloth diapered, breast-fed baby boy!
PS. this was a natural birth at a military hospital, I had an IV for fluid only. They were surprisingly more helpful than I had originally thought they would be. One of the mid-wives was on call though, and so that may have been why. ;)
