Generally I try and stay away from the inflammatory titles… but sometimes I need to grab attention. Immediate cord clamping does not benefit babies. It robs them of their blood supply, iron stores, stem cells, etc. It cuts off their oxygen supply suddenly and instantly – even if baby needs that oxygen while transitioning to lung breathing.
